This article explains how to accept a Splashtop invitation, set a password, and log in to the Splashtop Business app for remote access. It also includes instructions for users who have access to multiple Splashtop accounts or teams.
Troubleshooting Steps:
Step 1 – Receive Invite
Check your email inbox for an invitation from Splashtop.
Open the email and click Accept Invite.
Step 2 – Set Your Password
After clicking the link, you will be redirected to Splashtop’s setup page.
Create and confirm your new password.
Submit to complete account setup.
Step 3 – Log in to Splashtop Business App
Download and install the Splashtop Business app (if not already installed).
Open the app and log in using your email address and the password you just set.
Step 4 – Remote Your Devices
Once logged in, you will see the list of devices assigned to you.
Select the device you want to remote.
Click the device name to start a session.
Step 5 – Switching Between Splashtop Teams (If Applicable)
If your account is part of multiple Splashtop teams (for example, Testing and Production), you must ensure that you are logged into the correct team before starting a remote session.
If you see no devices or the wrong list of devices, you may be in a different team. Follow the instructions below to switch teams:
From the Web Portal (my.splashtop.com / eu)
Hover over your profile icon at the top-right corner.
From the dropdown menu, select the team you would like to switch to.
From the Splashtop Business App
Requirements:
Windows: version 3.6.4.1 or later
Mac: version 3.6.4.0 or later
Windows:
Open the Account dropdown menu.
Select Account & Team Information.
Choose the team you want to use and click Switch Team.
Mac:
Open the Account dropdown menu or click the Switch Account icon.
Select Account & Team Information.
Choose the team you want to use and click Switch Team.
From Splashtop Streamer (Account Login Mode)
If you are using a Splashtop account login streamer (not a deployment streamer), and your account belongs to multiple teams:
When logging in, a dropdown menu will appear allowing you to select the team to connect to.
To switch to another team, log out of the Streamer and log in again, then choose the desired team.
