Configure Splashtop Deployment Code in WizyEMM Console

Description:

This article provides steps for configuring Splashtop on the WizyEMM console using the deployment code generated from the Splashtop console. This ensures devices automatically install and register Splashtop Streamer under the correct customer group.

Troubleshooting Steps:

Step 1 – Log in

1. Log in to the WizyEMM console with admin credentials.

Step 2 – Add Splashtop Streamer & Add-on

1. Go to Application Management > Public Application.

2. Search for Splashtop Streamer.
   

3. Depending on the device model, also select the appropriate Splashtop Add-on:

   • Zebra

   • Samsung

   • Datalogic

4. Click Select to add both Splashtop Streamer and the required Add-on to Managed Apps.

Step 3 – Assign Apps to Profile

1. Navigate to the profile where the devices are registered.

2. Go to the Application tab.

3. Add both Splashtop Streamer and the Splashtop Add-on to the profile.

Step 4 – Configure Deployment Code

1. Within the profile’s Application tab, click Configuration on Splashtop Streamer.

2. Enter the following settings:
   
   

   • Deploy Code: Paste the code generated in the Splashtop console.

   • Custom Device Name: $DEVICE_NAME$

   • Custom Serial Number: $DEVICE_SERIAL_NUMBER$
      (These values can also be selected from the Dynamic Variables menu.)

Step 5 – Add to Kiosk & Save

1. Ensure that Splashtop Streamer is included in the Kiosk section of the profile.
   

Click Save in the upper right corner.
