A Regional Admin has the ability to enroll and wipe devices from the console. However, not all devices are visible to the Regional Admin. The only devices that are visible to the Regional Admin are the ones linked to the specific profiles and specific labels declared when adding the Regional Admin.
What it looks like:
Profile:
The Super Admin can specify a single profile for the Regional Admin. This will indicate that the Regional Admin only has access to devices that are linked to that specific profile.
At the same time, the Super Admin can also specify multiple profiles for the Regional Admin. This will widen the Regional Admin's reach as to what devices will be seen when they log in to the console.
Labels:
The Super Admin can specify multiple labels for the Regional Admin. However, this is an advanced feature that requires more understanding as to what labels, sets of labels, and combinations of labels will be available for the Regional Admin. Please read below to know how it works.
1. One field for labels (1 set of labels) has no input limit. However, when inputting 6 labels, (for example: Manila, Angers, Madrid, Samsung - Logistics, Samsung - Pickup, Zebra - Transport)
What the Regional Admin will see:
2. When using 3 sets of labels, for example:
- Set 1: Angers, Samsung - Logistics
- Set 2: Manila, Samsung - Pickup
- Set 3: Madrid, Zebra - Transport
What the Regional Admin will be able to see in the Device List of the console are devices that are linked to (Angers AND Samsung - Logistics) OR (Manila AND Samsung - Pickup) OR (Madrid AND Zebra - Transport)
What the Regional Admin will see:
3. If the Super Admin declared only one label per set of labels, for example:
- Set 1: Manila
- Set 2: Angers
- Set 3: Madrid
- Set 4: Samsung - Logistics
- Set 5: Samsung - Pickup
- Set 6: Zebra - Transport
The Regional Admin will have access to 6 labels, they will be able to see the devices linked to Manila OR Angers OR Madrid OR Samsung - Logistics OR Samsung - Pickup OR Zebra - Transport
