Unpublishing an application removes the app from your Play Console account. Unpublished apps aren't available for new users to find and download in managed Google Play.
Deleting a private app permanently removes the app from your Play Console account and you won't be able to republish it.
Unpublishing an application is a simple online process, done through the Google Play Console. Deleting an application requires you to submit a ticket to the Google Play support team.
Unpublish an application
To unpublish an app:
- Click on the Private apps tab of your WizyEMM console.
- Select the private app you want to unpublish.
- Click Make advanced edits.
- Sign in to the Play Console with a Google Account.
Note: Your account will be added as an admin of your organization's Play Console account. You can use this account in the future to sign into the Play Console. - Go to Release Setup Advanced settings.
- In the App Availability section, select Unpublish.
Delete an application
To delete an app, you must submit a ticket on the Google Play Console support center, by clicking on this link.
You will need to submit details of your managed Google Play account, such as:
- Developer name
- Developer account ID
- App name
- App package name
You can access these informations on your Play Console settings page. To access this settings page, click on the "Make advanced edits" link on your private app page, which will bring you to your Google Play Console.
You can find the Developer account ID in the Account details page under the Settings tab of your Google Play Console. Your Developer name is in the Developer page.
On the ticket for the Google Play team, you must select the radio button "I want to request for app deletion".
Make sure that your application has been unpublished for 24 hours.
Once the ticket submitted, an agent from the Google Play Console support team will get back to you.
